406 Kitchen & Taproom was started by Jake Brosovich and Brittainy Doucette. They are a brother and sister team that bought the business from their mother Carol. Jake & Brittainy had a vision to update the building and create a fun and warm atmosphere that would be enjoyable to everyone. They picked out a modern industrial style for the building with lots of reclaimed wood and steel. They added a rooftop bar and patio to add to the hip and trending theme. Being the first bar/restaurant in Billings to have this concept.
The food is inspired by Kevin Cole, the head chef, and his vision for great pub food. With a dedication to fresh food the restaurant boasts fresh baked bread, scratch made sauces and homemade ice cream just to name a few.
